Commissions

I take on a limited number of commissions each year, for paintings, digital pieces and 3D characters or props.

How it works

1. Tell me about your idea. Use the contact form and choose "Commission". Include what you'd like, the size or format, any reference images you can link to, and your timeframe.
2. Quote. I'll reply with whether it's a good fit, a price and an estimated timeline.
3. Deposit. Work starts once a 50% deposit is paid. The deposit covers my time and materials and is not refundable once work has begun.
4. Progress. You'll see a sketch or blockout early on, with one round of changes included at that stage.
5. Finish. The balance is due on completion, before the final files are sent or the piece is posted.

Good to know

• Prices depend on size, detail and medium, so every commission is quoted individually.
• Typical turnaround is 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the piece and my current list.
• I keep the copyright in commissioned work and may show it in my portfolio, unless we agree otherwise in writing. You receive the original or the files, plus the right to use them as we agreed.
• For 3D commissions, the standard 3D model licence applies unless we agree on something different.
